Section A: Why This Club?
I was going through all the various sailor moon clubs and found a whole bunch of really interesting linearts. The only problem was that half of them weren't available for coloring. I kept thinking that it would be nice if there was a place for Sailor Moon linearts that were okay for all deviants to color. So, I decided to create a Sailor Moon coloring club. ^-^ All linearts found here will be available to color to all deviants, not just members.
Section B: Rules
1. By joining this group, you AGREE to the rules provided, and will abide by them as a member.
2. Only 5 uploads per day please. ^^
3. Please be RESPECTFUL of other artists, particularly on their line work.
4. Submitting lineart that is not your's to the club will result in an decline. Please submit only your own lines.
5. All images supplied in the gallery are protected by their respective copyright holders, and uploaded with the direct consent of their original artists. They are open for others to color. Not steal. Copying and distributing uncolored line art provided on this gallery and the galleries of other members is a violation of deviantArt's terms of use in addition to international copyright law.
6. You MUST give credit to the original artist when posting colored works in your gallery.
7. All lineart submitted must be in black and white. If you do not have access to a program that can clean your lineart, I will do so for you. This is not to be rude or anything. But lineart is generally more attractive to prospective colorists if it's clean.
~I've had some issues with this rule, so to clarify: if it has gray shadows, random stains, or looks like a hastilly scribbled sketch, it's getting declined.
9. Line artists still retain the rights to their work, even when another is done coloring it. That means that their rules still apply to colored art when colorists submit it to their galleries. In the very highly unlikely event they do not like the final product (for whatever reason, whether it be quality, content, offensive, etc.), they still have the power to demand you to take down your work. This is not a club rule, but an emphasis upon the legal fact that simply coloring an image doesn't grant one exclusivity over it. Don't want any of you colorists surprised by what powers an original line artist still has.
Section C: News
03/01/10: Just successfully upgraded this club into a group. Invites have been sent out to previous members and lineartists I particularly enjoy. Anyone who wants to suggest a person to invite, just note me, and it'll be done.
03/05/09: Yo! Anybody still active? Lol. Kinda took an impromtu brake myself, so I understand. Just letting people know I'm back. Updates will be held only over the weekends now - I started college again, so I'm not going to have time between Monday and Thursday.
01/04/08: First off, Happy 2009 to all deviants! Secondly, membership, though slow, has begun to pick up. ^-^ I'm glad. We also have our first affiliate.
12/06/08: Club is now officially open!
